SPEVIS s.r.l.
STAZIONE SPERIMENTALE PER LA VITICOLTURA SPEVIS
SPEVIS (Experimental Station for Viticulture Spevis) is a private institution that studies
the most effective ecological solutions in viticulture. The project was created in
cooperation with wine producers and scientific consultation with prestigious research
institutes.
Sustainable viticulture is now a reality across all viticulture regions. Each region has had
different challenges and problems that have been solved through eco-friendly solutions.
Many of them have already reached a high level of reliability - they have also proved to
have economic benefits too.
Knowledge and experience gained from experimentation in the field provide us with the
most sustainable strategies for all working processes of modern viticulture. The
reduction of chemical pressures on the agro-system is the first important step towards
changing the way in which the complete production cycle is carried out.
The Experimental Station for Sustainable Viticulture addresses the efficacy of organic
methods for companies and wine producer groups or associations who are already
working with these methods or are interested in evaluating the efficacy of this approach.
Experiments and research carried out with Universities and Research Centres enables
us to adapt activities and programmes to offer personalised solutions following an in-
depth visit to the estate.
The list of our ongoing projects and research, along with names of our scientific
partners, can be found on our website at www.spevis.it
